A solid oak window sill with a fully rounded bullnose profile machined to the front edge. The bullnose is a traditional window sill profile, commonly specified in period and Victorian properties. It softens the leading edge and provides a neat, finished appearance.
Every board is machined from a single, unjointed piece of solid oak — no finger joints, no glue lines. For boards over 25mm thick, we can supply single-piece widths up to 480mm, a standard very few suppliers can match. Thinner boards of 25mm and under are supplied as a single piece up to 300mm wide; beyond this width they are precision edge-jointed in our workshop for increased stability.
Supplied with or without an oil finish applied in our workshop. Available in Character and Prime grade oak.
Maximum dimensions: 480mm wide, 2,400mm long, 55mm thick.
Want the raw material before machining? Our kiln dried oak timber range offers the same quality European and American white oak in sawn boards â ideal if you want to cut and finish yourself.
